Google announces new AI features in its productivity apps

Google announced that it is rolling out some AI-assisted features to some productivity apps. However, the rollout will not be global, as the company specifies that these features, like the chatbot Bard, will only be available to trusted testers in the United States. However, new features will be available to all users by the end of the year.

These features will be implemented in Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets and Slides. For example, within a document, AI is easily accessible from the interface, allowing you to discuss, summarize, and brainstorm while writing an article. In Gmail, AI can pick up context from short bullet points and compose an entire email. As for slides, it can generate images, audio and video on the fly, allowing you to create better presentations.
