Android 13 beta program continues with QPR3 Beta 1, rolling out now

  • Google has released the first Android 13 QPR3 beta build.
  • A new beta version contains a number of bug fixes and possibly new features.
  • Users who have not unenrolled from the Android 13 beta program will automatically receive this new build.
  • To receive the stable Android update on March 13, 2023, you will need to unenroll from the beta program.
  • If you have unenrolled from the beta program and plan to install the stable March 2023 update, do not install the new beta build. Otherwise you will have to wipe the phone.

Just days after Google pushed the stable QPR2 build to Pixel phones with the March 2023 feature drop, the company has released the first beta of QPR3.

As usual, a new beta build, QPR3 Beta 1 (T3B1.230224.005) contains a number of bug fixes. Google’s release notes don’t highlight any features, but builds usually hint at upcoming features, and there should be some. This build also includes the March 2023 update.
