Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has launched the Find X6 Pro at home, joining the likes of Xiaomi and Vivo in the 1-inch sensor club. Other highlights include a 510 ppi OLED display with adaptive refresh, his Snapdragon treatment on the flagship, and a plentiful fast-charging battery.
The Find X6 Pro’s triple-camera array rocks a circular ridge similar to the “black hole” design of Honor’s Magic5 Pro and OnePlus 11 5G, boasting Hasselblad’s color-optimized chops and image-specific MariSilicon X neural processing. .
All camera modules are up to 50 megapixels, and the wide-angle main unit focuses on Sony’s IMX989 1-inch type image sensor, sports an F1.8 aperture, and features optical image stabilization. The periscope telephoto fits a 1/1.56-inch sensor and comes with 3x optical zoom and 6x hybrid zoom, an aperture of F2.6, and support for optical image stabilization. The F2.2 ultra-wide camera also feeds a 1/1.56-inch sensor area and supports macro photography as well. Users can expect 4K video at 30 frames per second with Dolby Vision HDR, 60 fps without HDR, and up to 480 fps at 720p with slow motion capture.

Moving the front reveals visuals on a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 3,168 x 1,440 resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with adaptive refresh that tops out at 120 Hz and offers Snap Touch sampling at 240 Hz. . It also offers HyperBoost frame stabilization for smooth mobile gaming performance, DCI-P3 color gamut support, and peak brightness up to 2,500 nits. A hole-punch to the top center holds a 32MP/1080p selfie camera.
The Find X6 Pro runs Oppo’s Android-based ColorOS 13.1, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset boasting octa-core processing, and is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In addition to 5G mobile connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.3 (supporting aptX HD and LDAC codecs) and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be).

The smartphone’s 5,000 mAh battery supports 100 W plug-in fast charging and 50 W wireless, and according to Oppo, 10 minutes of charging will give the battery 50% capacity. And finally, it is waterproof and dustproof with IP68 standards.
For now, the Find X6 Pro is only available in China, starting at 5,999 yuan (which translates to around US$870, but an official US release is unlikely). A slightly less capable (and cheaper) model called the Find X6 is also slated for a Chinese launch.
