As you scroll through LinkedIn, you’ll find several people who have updated their profile pictures to ones created by artificial intelligence instead of their actual pictures. They look like them, but they are not at all. It’s as if they met a blind alien artist, explained what they looked like to the aliens, and allowed the aliens to replicate them. is not.
For research, I decided to try it too. Today I spent $100 to get 100 AI headshots.
To be insulted in 100 innovative ways I used AI suit up(opens in new tab)is an AI-powered service that promises to generate “high-quality headshots that will take your LinkedIn profile to the next level.” The shot is $19.95, but I had his TikTok code (TIKTOK50) sent to me by a friend and it only cost me $9.97. steal!
The next step is to upload 15 photos of yourself and a selfie. This means sifting through all the photos you have on your phone and picking 15 of him that actually look like you. After battling my own narcissism, I uploaded them and waited the required 40 minutes for him to receive them.
The 100 photos can be sorted into several categories.

Perhaps one or two of them are available, but most of them are not. Something is forbidden about them. Like M3GAN, it looks human, but hides something sinister. I don’t trust the people in those pictures. Even if I were in a position to hire someone (I’m not), I wouldn’t trust AI-generated threatening mug shots either.
There are other platforms you can use to receive your own freak show of photo albums, but from what I’ve seen they’re all just as terrifying.
