As part of a suite of features rolling out to its messaging platform, WhatsApp has made it much easier to control who can and cannot participate in group chats.
One of the updates allows admins to approve or deny requests to join groups in one place. So when someone tries to join the group via an invite link or the community, admins have more active control over group privacy.
This new feature is WhatsApp’s launch in early 2022 to help users combine multiple group chats under one roof.[コミュニティ]associated with the tab. More importantly, this feature was aimed squarely at many of the best messaging apps that allow large numbers of people to connect with each other in shared communities like Slack and Discord.

Prior to this change, admins were forced to share group invite links only with trusted users. Otherwise, anyone with access to the URL could jump into a group you weren’t invited to.
