The Discover Samsung promotion ends this Sunday, so you still have a few days to check out the week’s discounts. The deal is only available today, however, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with $100 Samsung credit on top of the discounts you get through the enhanced trade-in program.
The base price of the flagship is $1,200 (256GB, unlocked), but you can save up to $750 if you send in an older device. A quick check puts the S22 Ultra in good condition at $700, the S21 Ultra at $550, and the S20 Ultra at $390. The iPhone 14 Pro Max is $700 and the 13 Pro Max is $575.
Note that Samsung also takes in broken phones (at lower valuations), as well as tablets and old smartwatches you no longer need.
Verizon offers up to $1,000 in billing credits, and AT&T and T-Mobile up to $800 when it’s time to sign a new contract with your carrier.

There’s also a Samsung microSD card with a small discount, but where do you put it? The Ultra series ditched the memory card slot a few years ago.
Instead, you might be interested in this Flash Deal, a 10,000mAh power bank that supports 25W fast charging (featuring a pair of USB-C ports). Of course, the S23 Ultra has great battery life (126 hours in our endurance test), but having extra power on long trips is never a problem.
