The Samsung Galaxy F14 debuted in India today, giving birth to three very closely related handsets alongside the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy M14. Like the other two, the Galaxy F14 is built around a 6.6-inch 90Hz PLS LCD with FullHD+ resolution and a 5nm Exynos 1330 chipset with 5G support. The Galaxy F14 gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, but the M and A brothers’ glass types have not been confirmed.
Inside the Galaxy F14 is a 6,000mAh battery, the same as the Galaxy M14 but larger than the Galaxy A14’s 5,000mAh unit. The F14’s 25W maximum charging speed is faster than the 15W offered by both counterparts.
Another notable difference is the back. The Samsung Galaxy F14 has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP macro sensor, while the other two he also has a 2MP depth sensor. However, I’m highly skeptical that anyone would miss that depth sensor. A waterdrop notch on the front houses a 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 runs Android 13 with OneUI Core 5.1. This is a slightly scaled-down version of Samsung’s interface. The phone is promised two major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 will come in OMG Black, GOAT Green and BAE Purple. Sales will begin at noon on March 30 through Samsung’s own website, Flipkart, and various retail partners. The price is INR 12,990 for the 4+128GB version and INR 14,490 for the 6+128GB version.
