We already know that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be announced on March 28th at 7pm. We also know quite a bit about the phone, thanks to a Weibo leak and his visit to AnTuTu. A new set of teaser images have surfaced online along with some additional device specs.

Apparently, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s display is 12-bit, supports HDR10+, has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and SGS Low Blue Light certification. Previous rumors indicated a 6.67-inch diagonal display and his FHD+ resolution. The phone boasts very thin bezels measuring just 1.95 mm on the top of the display and 1.42 mm on the sides, with a 2.22 mm chin underneath and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.45%. The entire body is 7.9mm thick and weighs 181g.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo is also rumored to offer a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as a stereo speaker setup with support for Dolby ATMOS and Hi-Res audio. It also has an IR blaster. Confirming previous rumors, the handset is expected to be the first or first to lock the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS3.1 storage. According to a new teaser, the chip will be cooled by a 3725mm² vapor chamber cooler.

In a rather contradictory report, a new source claims that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader rather than one in-display. It has a large 5,000 mAh battery capable of 67W charging. The phone is expected to have a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro shooter. It is also said to run Android 13 with MIUI 14.
No word yet on pricing and availability. However, it is worth noting that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is due to launch on his 5th April in India under the Poco F5 brand.
