Four Redmi Note 12 models were offered to the international market. Three of them have 5G connectivity. Two of them have the premium feature Pro moniker. One note to rule them all – the most premium Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
This story has a happy ending. please do not worry. Unlike the Redmi Note 11 series, which delivered most downgrades and disappointing performance, the Redmi Note 12 models are happy to fix this. This will go down in the history books for its 200MP camera, 120W fast charging, and all-around Dolby features.
All right, no more teasing. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ adopts a 6.67 inch OLED with 120Hz refresh and Dolby Vision. A pair of Dolby Atmos speakers completes the Dolby package.
The new model is powered by the Dimensity 1080 platform. This is what powers his Dimensity 920 inside the 11 Pro+. Also, the RAM in the base version has been increased from 6GB to 8GB.
Even better, the battery capacity has also been improved, with the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ boasting a 4,500mAh to 5,000mAh battery. Redmi fans don’t want to let you know, but the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ doesn’t support microSD expansion like the regular Pro does. We believe these should be the first lost among the global Redmi Note model, which may leave some fans frustrated.
That said, everything else looks promising on this new Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Unpacking the Redmi Note 12 Pro+
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes in a thick white box. This bundle includes a 120W GaN charger, a USB-A-to-C cable, and a transparent soft case.
The Note 12 Pro+ also comes with a thin protective film to prevent scratches. However, it was a dirty magnet and we removed it, but feel free to keep it if you don’t mind.
