Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro photos reveal design

Asus’ ROG Phone 7 series has arrived, with an official launch scheduled for April 13th. Two weeks before his mobile phone was unveiled, it was posted on his website for Taiwan’s National Communications Commission.

Two phones appeared, both with a similar look to the Phone 6 lineup: one with a small display on the back, presumably a Pro, and one without it.

One of the battery cells is also certified with a capacity of 3,000 mAh. That means a total of 6,000 mAh with dual cells and faster charging. Speaking of charging, an adapter is also pictured, apparently offering a 65W rate (20V at 3.25A). The phone also comes with a protective case that highlights the back design and is Aero Active Cooler certified.

The ROG Phone 7 and Phone 7 Pro arrive as slight improvements over their predecessors. The changes are a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Android 13, while the display remains a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a 165Hz refresh rate.

The cameras may or may not change, but more importantly what cooling and performance upgrades Asus brings to these new phones.
