How to play Minecraft on Chromebooks

This past year has seen a lot of progress when it comes to turning Chromebooks into more than just devices for school and basic web browsing. At least the beta version of Steam is officially released so that you can play many of the best Steam games on ChromeOS without relying on Linux.

And now, one of the world’s most popular games is available to play. Microsoft-owned Mojang recently announced that you can now play Minecraft on Chromebooks. There are newer versions of the game on the Play Store, but downloading and installing Minecraft isn’t the easiest way to get started.
