The entry-level vivo Y02A debuted today. The phone comes with a simple design and his high-capacity 5,000mAh battery.
The front of the vivo Y02A is shot with a 6.51-inch LCD with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for a 5MP selfie camera. There is one camera on the back. An 8 MP shooter on a circular island and an LED flash.
The vivo Y02A is powered by Mediatek’s discreet Helio P35 chipset. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but has a dedicated microSD slot to expand it.
The OS is Funtouch OS 12, which exceeds the minimum required Android 12 Go Edition.
Connectivity is limited to LTE, and dual nanoSIM slots with dual standby are available. The phone supports Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies and comes with Bluetooth 5.0. Charging is limited to 10W, but a USB cable is included.
Y02A is basically the global version of vivo Y11 (2023) announced last week. The vivo Y02A is first available in Bangladesh, priced at Tk 12,499, just south of $120/€110. Color options are Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue, both of which are already for sale on the company’s website.
