Samsung’s foldable devices have clearly lagged behind when it comes to camera capabilities, but last year’s model made a noticeable improvement, giving fans hope that they could start catching up. We got the first details about the camera settings. This is good news and bad news.
According to forecaster Yogesh Bullerthe Galaxy Z Fold5 offers the same 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto cameras as the Galaxy Z Fold4. That’s the not particularly promising part.
The good news is that the phone will reportedly have a new camera sensor. This should improve image quality. It’s unclear if all sensors will be upgraded or just some, but we’ll definitely learn a lot more in the months leading up to the announcement.
The report also mentions an improved hinge design, a larger outer display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset.
