Apple introduces a major update to Safari Private Browsing to better protect users against third-party trackers while browsing the web.

“Advanced tracking and fingerprint protection features further help prevent websites from using modern technology to track or identify your device,” the iPhone maker said.

“Private Browsing now locks when not in use, allowing users to keep tabs open even when away from the device.”
