Pillsbury is looking for a registered patent agent with at least two years of patent preparation and filing experience. This is a full-time, full-time employee located in California (San Diego, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, San Francisco), Texas (Austin), or Virginia (Northern Virginia).

Main Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this position are:

  • development and implementation of patent filing strategies;
  • Conducting interviews with clients to obtain invention disclosures,
  • preparation of a patent application under the supervision of a patent attorney,

Required qualifications:

Candidates must be qualified as patent attorneys. The ideal candidate should be a registered patent agent with at least two years of her patent preparation and filing experience. Candidates ideally have experience writing software at multiple layers of the software stack, or have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
