Philips Evnia 34M2C8600; Quantum Dots, Ultrawide And FreeSync Premium Pro

3440 x 1440 @ 175 Hz Over USB-C Or DP

The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 34″ display hits all the marks except for three, HDMI 2.0, it only has HDR400 and it will run you $1200.  If you want a quantum dot, 1800R monitor with a 175Hz Freesync Premium Pro in an 21:9 form factor you are going to have to pay for it though!  You aren’t stuck pushing buttons on this premium monitor either, there is a joystick on the back to control the OSD.  The connectivity is mixed, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C with DP-Alt mode that can also deliver up to 90W of power is great, a pair of HDMI 2.0 port on the other hand is quite disappointing.

You won’t have to worry about calibration, out of the box Kitguru measured 100% sRGB, 96% AdobeRGB and 99% DCI-P3.   The monitor has the same almost unnoticeable colour overshoot issue common to all OLED displays, but with a gray to gray response time of 1.02ms it is one of the fastest monitors KitGuru has ever seen.  The full Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 review is found here.
