Russia has stepped up satellite jamming, especially around Moscow, to fend off long-range attacks by Ukrainian drones.

Russia is known to interfere with global navigation satellite systems, particularly GPS, which is operated by the US military and widely used in smartphones, car navigation systems, and other devices.
