“The Shorts Monetization module allows your channel to share revenue from ads viewed between videos in your Shorts feed. You can earn short feed ads and YouTube Premium revenue for watching short videos,” YouTube wrote on its announcement page.

According to YouTube, the platform will require everyone currently participating in the YouTube Partner Program to sign new terms and conditions. A new condition contains a new base condition. This includes program terms such as payment methods, content policies, and new terms such as country pass-through and rights clearance adjustments.

After signing the basic terms, creators can choose the contract module depending on what they want to make money from. The watch page monetization module represents a page within YouTube, YouTube Music, or YouTube Kids. The Shorts Monetization Module, on the other hand, allows your channel to share revenue from ads displayed between videos in your Shorts feed.

You must accept the Terms of Service by February 1st. If you accept the Terms of Service after February 1st, your YouTube Short Ad revenue share will begin on the date of acceptance. But don’t let the agreement stall for too long.
