Samsung has opened pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series, but that’s not all. You can also reserve the new Galaxy Book laptop. There are no further details on either option, but it’s clear that the phone is the new Android flagship, while the laptop option could point to the upcoming Galaxy Book 3 series.
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Pro 360 are coming, as well as a new premium model, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Previously, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Galaxy Book Odyssey were at the top of the food chain.
The exact size of the Ultra display is unknown at this time, but it will likely feature a full-size keyboard with numeric keypad and a 13th Gen Intel Core processor. Rumor has it that one of its main selling points is its light design.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is said to be lighter than the Dell XPS 15 and Apple MacBook Pro. The XPS is a 15.6-inch laptop weighing between 1.92kg and 2.1kg (4.22-4.62lbs). MacBook Pro comes in two sizes: 14 inches (1.6kg/3.5lbs) and 16 inches (2.1-2.2kg/4.7-4.8lbs).
There are lightweight laptops on the market. For example, the 17-inch LG Gram weighs only 1.43 kg/3.16 lbs. There’s also talk of a 15-inch MacBook Air coming next year. So this new top-of-the-line Samsung ultrabook will have to offer more than light weight as it will face some stiff competition. The new Galaxy Book 3 series should be announced on his February 1st along with the Galaxy S23 series.
