This week was dominated by Apple’s big event announcing the new iPhone, the new Apple Watch, and the second-generation AirPods Pro. But there were also a lot of big announcements. Bose has announced its new flagship noise-cancelling wireless earbuds, the QuietComfort Earbuds II. Polk Audio has provided us with a new Dolby Atmos soundbar. And Hasselblad has announced his new flagship medium format mirrorless camera, the X2D 100C.

Below, we’ve rounded up all the big gadget announcements this week.

iPhone 14 and 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 looks very similar to last year’s iPhone 13. Same size and almost the same he has a 6.1 inch display. It also has the same A15 Bionic chipset. However, Apple has made some notable upgrades under the hood. The rear camera and selfie camera system have been improved for better low-light photography. There is a new action mode for better stabilization when shooting video. It has satellite connectivity – a first for any iPhone. And perhaps most notably, Apple has ditched the “mini” version and replaced it with a “plus” version with his 6.7-inch display similar to the Pro Max instead.

The new iPhone 14 Pro was probably the most prominent feature of Apple’s event this week. It has an all-new floating pill-shaped notch called Dynamic Islands, which is interactive and designed to make it easier to control apps running in the background (music, timers, maps, etc.). It features a greatly improved rear triple camera system, including a 48-megapixel main camera with the largest sensor ever on an iPhone. And they’re powered by Apple’s very new powerful chipset, the A16 Bionic.

The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on September 9th. Both will launch on his September 16th.

Bose has announced the second generation of its noise-cancelling wireless earbuds. Compared to the QuietComfort Earbuds released in 2020, the new model is very different. They have a completely new design that’s noticeably smaller, plus Bose has significantly improved the noise canceling and transparency modes. In fact, Bose claims these have the “world’s best noise canceling” for true wireless earbuds.

Apple has announced the second generation model of AirPods Pro. The new wireless earbuds look very similar to their predecessors, costing exactly the same ($249), but Apple has tipped it off with a more advanced H2 chipset, better audio and twice as strong active noise cancellation. It offers. Each earbud has a new capacitive touch control that lets you adjust volume (a first for AirPods). Qi charger, MagSafe charger, or (most exciting) Apple Watch pack. Comes with extra-sized eartips for extra-small. The case has built-in loops to attach a small lanyard sold separately by Apple.

Pre-orders will begin on September 9th and will go on sale on September 23rd.

The Apple Watch “Ultra” was another big draw at Apple’s big event. It’s an all-new Apple Watch line that’s bigger, sturdier, sleeker, and more expensive than any other Apple Watch. It features a larger, redesigned Digital Crown and an all-new ‘Action’ button that lets you customize actions like quickly starting a specific workout. It has a larger battery that lasts 36 hours (up to 60 hours in low power mode). There is also a new Compass app and an app specifically designed for recreational scuba divers called Oceanic Plus.

The Apple Watch Ultra will be available on September 23rd. Cellular model only.

Apple Watch Series 8 and SE (2nd generation)

While the Ultra made headlines, Apple also unveiled its new flagship and budget-friendly Apple Watch, the Series 8 and SE (Gen 2) respectively. Sure, they both look pretty much the same as their predecessors, but Apple has made some notable improvements to both. It has a $30 starting price ($30 less than before). The Series 8 has a new sensor for monitoring body temperature (mainly aimed at female reproductive health). Both new Apple Watches can detect if you’re in a serious car accident and call for help.

The new SE and Series 8 are available for pre-order now and will launch everywhere on September 16th.

The Insta360 X3 is the company’s new handheld 360-degree camera and the direct successor to the One X2 released in 2020. The X3’s biggest improvement is probably the new touchscreen display. Much larger and more convenient (because it makes previewing and reviewing footage much easier). The lens and sensor have also improved significantly on the X3, allowing him to capture 360-degree video of him in 5.7K and ultra-detailed 72-megapixel stills.

Hasselblad X2D 100C

The Hasselblad X2D 100C is the company’s new flagship medium format mirrorless camera. It has a huge 100-megapixel back-illuminated sensor, but it’s housed in a similarly sized body to the company’s X1D 50C and X1D II 50C (both with 50-megapixel sensors). It features an advanced hybrid phase and contrast-based autofocus system and in-body image stabilization. It’s a handheld camera beast. Hasselblad also announced three new lenses (and other X System cameras): the XCD 38mm f/2.5 ($3,700), 55mm f/2.5 ($3,700) and 90mm f/2.5 ($4,300).
