- SUPER STRONG LOCKING WEDGE: Haven is tested to be 10x stronger than standard deadbolt locks. Haven is anchored to the floor, allowing him to spread the force on the door over a 30-inch steel baseplate. A locking wedge bends and receives an applied force to reinforce the entire door and prevent intrusion into the residential door.
- Smartphone App Control: Haven Connect is simple and easy to use. Depressing the actuation pedal mechanically actuates the locking wedge. To unlock, simply step on the locking wedge. Heaven Connect provides additional access control to lock and unlock via a smartphone app (Android and ios) or an additional key fob. Use the mobile app to lock and unlock, send a digital key, check battery charge, and more. Future upgrades are also available via Software Update.
- EASY TO INSTALL: Haven is easy to install on hardwood, tile, concrete, vinyl, or any hard flat surface. Average reported customer installation time is 14 minutes. Templates and easy-to-follow instructions are included. The shelter is attached with 6 phillips head screws for attaching the lock to the floor. Removing the locking wedge gate cover gives the installer access to her six mounting holes in the steel baseplate. Installation support videos can be found online.
- Do you have a Fit My Door? Nickel test it. The shelter is 0.80 inches high and should fit between the bottom of the door and the top of the floor. To test this, take a five-cent nickel, stand it on its side, and place it on the floor of the inner door passageway, making sure the door passes over the nickel. Additional 1/8″ wide risers can be used if there is clearance. (One riser included in the box also serves as an installation template).
