This listing is for 100 old marbles, usually 5/8 inch in size. Most of these are from his late 1950s onwards, and some may date back to his 1800s. Many, if not most of these are listed in one or more of the various marble price guides for anywhere from $2 to $8 each. So technically, there are hundreds of dollars worth of marbles here in each lot. But they are common enough patterns that experienced collectors already have and haven’t seen these. So at the show I wholesale these for $1 each and go through hundreds of them. I’ve even had a fellow marble dealer pick up hundreds at a time. Peltier Baseball, Acro Corkscrew, Vitro Tricolor, Dyed Clay, Peltier Rainbow, Marble King Multicolor, Nearly any item can appear here, including Master Made Sunbursts, Champion Juniors, Unglazed China, Vitro Helmets, Bananas, and more. Style and Cage Cat’s Eye, Slug, Hybrid Cat’s Eye, Old Patched and Brushed, Peltier Sunset, Old All Red or Blackie, West Virginia Swirl…..you get the idea. Hmm. The photos are examples of mixes taken at different times, so you can see some of the possible coverage. Just pick his next 100 marbles from the bin. Most are in new or near mint condition, but such large lots may have occasional chips or manufacturing defects. We have multiple lots available, and we’ve reduced the price to $65 per lot.
