CaptainBook.io, a Greek online platform that connects tour, activity and experience providers with trusted local resellers such as hotels, Airbnb hosts and travel agencies, is led by SeedBlink, Seedlink’s European platform Raised €250,000 in a pre-seed funding round. Co-investing in tech startups.
The founders will use this investment to drive product development and accelerate CaptainBook.io’s expansion into Eastern Europe, particularly Romania and Poland, as well as Spain and Italy.
CaptainBook.io brings experience suppliers online by providing a booking engine that connects to a network of trusted local resellers such as hotels, Airbnb hosts and travel agents. Through CaptainBook.io, Experience Suppliers can create, manage, distribute and sell from a single platform. CaptainBook.io is available to any company (airlines, destination management organizations, etc.) that wants to incorporate and sell real-time availability and booking confirmation experiences.
Founded in 2021 by Jerome Bajou and Luca Lattanzio, the company has already helped over 280 suppliers online and has over 520 experiences in five countries.
Captainbook’s portfolio of clients and partners includes GetYourGuide, Project Expedition, Viator, and Civitatis.
