Samsung Wallet is now available in 8 more regions, including India and Brazil

Samsung Wallet launched last June, bringing Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass under one roof. It’s been rolling out globally since then, with the South Korean company now announcing that it’s expanding its service to eight new markets, bringing the total to 29.

The new regions are Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, with rollouts planned for the end of January.

Samsung Wallet is a one-stop service for all kinds of cards, including credit cards, debit cards, library cards, membership cards, gift cards, some digital support keys, and digital assets such as blockchain wallets.

Samsung has partnered with some automakers, such as BMW and Hyundai, to enable digital key functionality in their various models. The legacy of Samsung Pass also brings password management and access to cryptocurrencies.
