LG has added another full HD LED projector to its CineBeam series. Compact and lightweight, the smart portable projector can project 120 inches of entertainment onto a wall or screen, run LG’s smart TV platform, and pair with two Bluetooth speakers for stereo sound.
At just 5.8 x 2.6 x 5.8 inches (14.7 x 6.6 x 14.7 cm) and 2.2 pounds (1 kg), the PF510Q DLP projector is small and lightweight enough to tuck into your backpack between viewing and gaming sessions. However, the unit has to be plugged into an electrical outlet to function, so it’s not as portable or flexible as battery-powered models like XGIMI’s slightly more expensive Halo.
It can display 1080p HDR visuals from 30 inches diagonal up to 120 inches and benefits from a 4-channel LED light source considered suitable for up to 30,00 hours of use. The output isn’t the brightest at 450 ANSI lumens, but you should be able to see it in a dark room or backyard campout.

The unit runs LG’s smart TV platform webOS 22 and is also compatible with AirPlay 2 and Apple Home to access popular streaming services such as Disney Plus, Prime Video and Apple TV Plus. Content casting from Android devices is also possible through screen sharing. Media hardware can be cabled to the two HMDI ports. There is also USB type A and RJ45 Ethernet.
The projector has a built-in 5W mono speaker, but if you need stereo, you can take advantage of the Bluetooth audio dual output feature to output through two wireless speakers.
The CineBeam Smart Portable Projector comes with a handy IR remote and is available now for $599.99.
