Take it with a grain of salt, but according to a new Weibo leak, the Redmi Note 12 family is about to grow again with a phone tentatively dubbed the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. It has been launched and may be launched internationally, and will later be launched under another brand like Poco.

For now, we only know a few things about the unannounced device, including that it will feature an in-display fingerprint reader, which is all-new for the Redmi Note 12 series of phones. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is said to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, FHD+ display. In another interesting twist, the phone is apparently based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset.
Leaks continue with several camera specs, including a 50MP main snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide and a third camera of sorts. Something like the Redmi Note 12 Pro that could very well be a 2MP macro snapper. The leak also claims that the phone will have a 5,500 mAh battery. That’s a bit more than the 5,000 mAh pack found in most other Redmi Note 12 phones.Just like the Redmi Note 12 Pro, it’s paired with 67W fast charging.
That’s all the information we have at the moment. We will keep an eye on other Redmi Note 12 Turbo news.
