-For some reason I couldn’t find the WWE NXT Level Up live show at Peacock last night. So I’m up early to catch the Hulu replay.
-Present Team: Matt Camp and Byron Saxton
-Recording: WWE PC, Orlando, FL
Nikita Lyons vs. Jakarra Jackson
– Jackson is still chasing her first win and doesn’t like her chances here.Byron tells me these two are Tik-Tok BFFs. Locking up and starting, Jackson drops down to dodge the kick and Lyons throws the kick. The timing was slightly off. Jackson controls with a hammerlock, but Lyons goes to his feet and carries things to the mat. She covers her 1 count and side hooks her headlock. Lyons lands on her back elbow and wants to go on top of her, but Jackson pulls her down by her hair. She passes Lyons to her middle rope and pulls him out of her apron. Throw her knees. Jackson gets the mount and throws a few strikes. She goes to the armbar and transitions to her overhead wrist lock. Standing armbars as the crowd fades in and out trying to rally the Lions. Lyons can force a break with her sidewalk slam. Jackson lunges at her elbow. Lions hit a spinning back fist and a running forearm in the corner. A slam follows, followed by a superkick. The split leg drop he finished at 5:09.
Via Nikkita Lyons’ pin 5:09
– This probably should have been something like Lyons SQUASH, so it’s a bit too long. But the Lions’ comeback was solid. 3/4*
-Kelly is backstage with Damon Kemp. He faces Tank Ledger later tonight.

Damon Kemp vs. Tank Ledger
-Tank is also looking for his first winner.Like Jackson, I don’t like his chances here. He clowns on the tank’s back. Kemp gets another takedown and shows off more. Ledge gets his slam on the shoulder followed by a sidewalk on his tackle. He goes too early into the background and shoves it down his throat. Kemp gets a neckbreaker and drops his elbow. Another neckbreaker when the ledger gets caught in the rope. Overhead belly to belly suplex he gets two. Kemp works his shoulders and ribs while stretching the ledge. Ledge breaks with his toss on the hip, landing a clothesline and hitting his SOS slam in the hall. Splash was blocked with a knee by Kemp and finished with the lock his bottom his backbreaker on the pin at 4:30.
Winner: Damon Kemp pinned at 4:30
– A decent Hoth battle. Kemp is getting better because his attacks look crisp and work big guys who can throw other big guys in a suplex. *1/2
・Hulu CM!
– Return to RAW to take on the 6-pack challenge with Valor, Rollins, Miz, Ziggler, Corbin and Lashley. Again, Hulu adds his RAW matches to the show each week to fill in the running time. It was a fun and chaotic match with interference from JBL, Theory, MVP and Omos. Bobby Lashley wins and faces Austin Theory at RAW is XXX.

Odyssey Jones vs. Joe Gacy (w/ Schism)
・A lockup that starts with caution because it is a stalemate. Gacy tries a running shoulder, but it doesn’t work. Jones grabs a side headlock and Gacy escapes with a punch and is knocked down again. Jones tackles his arm and throws Gacy into a corner. He hits a pair of slams and spins Gacy several times. The crowd wants another, but Ava distracts her by grabbing her leg, keeping Gacy on track. He hits a running knee and drops two elbows. Gacy throws a strike and uses her middle rope to choke Jones. He sweeps his leg and gets a neck crank. Jones relaxes and throws the clothesline. He scored his breaker over the shoulder, followed by the world’s strongest slam where he scored two points. Gacy lands his elbow in the corner and then the big boot. He puts a shot into Jones’ knee, which was surgically repaired, and finishes with a handspring on his lariat at 6:02.
Winner: Joe Gacy at 6:02 pin
-I haven’t seen Gacy’s charm yet, but I’m not a fan of this. Jones looks solid as a big wrestler. Gacy’s win here makes sense, and we appreciate the commentary covering Jones’ knee surgery. *
