NZ 119/2; Nicholls departs after Conway brings up 50

India v New Zealand 3rd ODI Preview: After two wins in a row, India will look for a clean 3-0 sweep with victory in the third and final ODI on Tuesday at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. India had beaten Sri Lanka by the same margin in his ODI series in his three games earlier this month, but his one more clean sweep comes in his 2-2 at Men in Blue.

India scored their first ODI with 12 runs. It was a close tie as Michael Bracewell scored a century and the Kiwis put up a tough fight before Shubman Gill scored 208 and India scored 349.

India looks set to 3-0 in Indore, but there hasn’t been much of a chance recently with the pressure on the not-so-performing mid-orders in case the higher-orders fail. It will be a big test, but India hopes the middle order will be tested and win as they fine-tune their squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

India: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan (wk), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Suryakumar Yadav, KS Bharat (wk), Hardik Pandya (Vice-Captain), Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kull Deep Yadav, Mohammed Shammi, Mohammed Siraj, Umran Malik.

new zealand: Tom Latham (Captain), Finn Allen, Doug Bracewell, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Jacob Duffy, Rocky Ferguson, Darryl Mitchell, Henry Nichols, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Henry Shipley, Ish Sodi, Blair Tickner
