LumaFusion vs DaVinci Resolve: Which iPad video editor should you use?

1. I want to speed up editing

One of the great things about LumaFusion is how easy it is to use. Designed from the ground up for iPad and iPhone, it makes high-end video editing accessible to users with little or no previous experience. My main video editor on Mac is adobe premier proI use DaVinci Resolve Studio a lot and spend a lot of time researching how to work there.

2. Not yet using DaVinci Resolve

If you don’t have much experience with DaVinci Resolve, LumaFusion is the way to go.

When I installed this app, I expected to be bombarded with messages asking me to pay $95 for a Studio upgrade. That didn’t happen. It only asks you to upgrade if you try to use premium features. All the basic tools you need for video editing are available for free.

4. I want to edit videos in earnest

DaVinci Resolve is a serious tool, and it gets even more serious when you upgrade to the Studio version. If you want to learn how to edit videos professionally, this is the way to go. Note that there is a lot to learn about using the app at that level.
