Dyson actually launched some crazy-looking noise-cancelling headphones with a built-in air purifier that opened to the public in March of this year. Be prepared to empty your wallet and likely be shunned by the rest of society.

The Dyson concept (also known as the Zone) is about to see the light of day at a staggering price of $950. To that end, he gets a unique device that can be high-fidelity, noise-cancelling headphones, with a removable mouth/nose visor that cleanses him of 99% of particle pollution.

The specs of the headphones alone are quite powerful. He has 11 built-in microphones, 3 of which are for calls and the rest for noise monitoring. The Active Noise Canceling (ANC) setup is claimed to reduce ambient sounds by up to 38db. However, I would like to know how the system behaves when the filter unit is operated at full tilt. As for sound, the Dyson Zone covers his 6Hz to 21kHz, and you can customize his EQ settings using the companion app. The headphones have a claimed battery life of up to 50 hours with ANC enabled and filters off.

Without a doubt, Zone’s biggest story is the filtration unit. Dyson markets this for city dwellers. With more than half of the world’s population living in polluted cities, the company hopes that adapters working and commuting in these areas will benefit from Zone’s high-efficiency filters. The unit itself magnetically snaps into a slot in each ear cup and is claimed to filter out 99% of particle contamination down to 0.1 microns. Additionally, potassium-enhanced carbon filters target acid gases (such as NO).2 Such2) when air is forced into the system. In fact, the MyDyson app can track the air quality around you in real time and even provide information such as filter life. Powered by audio and an air purifying unit, the battery life can last up to her 4 hours.

Dyson Zone will go on sale in the Chinese market in January 2023, followed by the US, UK, Hong Kong SAR and Singapore markets in March.
