Nothing kills a PC’s life like dust. But a quick and easy routine maintenance can keep your system dust-free and running like new. Watch this video to learn how to remove dust from your PC.
Step 1: Shut down and unplug your PC
Don’t try to dust your running PC. Therefore, always shut down and disconnect from power. For safety, it is also recommended to disconnect any attached peripherals.
Step 2: Clean all dust filters
If your case has dust filters, remove them and wipe them with a clean cloth.Use compressed air to blow off residual dust
Step 3: Blow away the dust
Continue to use compressed air to blow out all the dust and work from front to back. Be very careful cleaning the heatsink and all fans. It’s okay to spend time here. Keep the can upright to avoid condensation.
Step 4: Reconnect power and peripherals
Once it’s clean, put everything back together and turn it on. Repeat this process every 6-12 months to keep your PC free and comfortable.
