Venable LLP’s patent prosecution and counseling group is looking for patent agents with a background in mechanical or aerospace engineering with offices in Washington, DC, New York, New York, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA. . I am a full-time employee.
Required and preferred qualifications:
- Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s or graduate degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science. Experience as a patent examiner and her PTO registration is highly desired. No industry experience required.
- Qualified candidates have 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience at the USPTO or law firm.
- Candidates should possess a strong academic background, excellent writing skills, and keen analytical skills.
