The event will officially start on January 5, 2023, but several companies have already revealed what they plan to bring to the show floor when it opens to the public. LG showcased new 2023 OLED TV models with smarter features and better image quality, including the new Z3, G3, and C3 OLED evo series.

The new Z3, G3, and C3 OLED evo series TVs are the flagships of LG’s 2023 OLED lineup. These upgraded new models offer greater brightness, color accuracy, sharpness, and detail thanks to the precision and performance of LG OLED evo technology and the new α9 AI processor Gen6.

LG G3 OLED evo uses the new Brightness Booster Max technology, which boosts brightness by up to 70% through a new light control architecture and algorithms. This technology maps and controls brightness on a pixel-by-pixel basis, resulting in sharper, more realistic images. The G3 OLED evo model also features an ultra-seamless One Wall Design that adds style to your living room with no visible gaps when mounted on the wall.

As expected, the new TV comes pre-installed with the latest webOS, with a redesigned user interface and plenty of personalization options. The ‘quick card’ feature provides easy access to your favorite content. The AI Concierge feature also provides each user with a curated list of content based on past usage and viewing history.

The new LG TVs are Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos certified, but they get a big upgrade when it comes to audio. LG says the new OLED TVs can seamlessly integrate with the company’s latest soundbar for a great home cinema experience. The WOW Orchestra3 feature combines audio channels from both your TV and soundbar to create a more immersive sound.

LG hasn’t forgotten gamers either. The new TV comes with 0.1ms response time, low input latency and up to 4 HDMI 2.1a compliant ports. It also features a Game Optimizer, allowing users to quickly select and toggle game-specific features such as game genre display presets and his G-SYNC, FreeSync Premium, and variable refresh rate settings.

In addition to supporting a wide range of HDMI 2.1a compliant features, LG’s 2023 OLED TV is the first product to be Quick Media Switching VRR (QMS-VRR) certified by the HDMI organization. QMS-VRR eliminates the momentary “black screen” that can sometimes occur when switching between content played from different devices connected via a TV’s HDMI 2.1a port.

LG also says its new TVs are created with sustainability in mind. The company claims that these TVs require fewer materials to manufacture than traditional LED TVs, use components made from recycled plastic, and ship in eco-friendly packaging. It’s also certified for low blue light by TÜV Rheinland and anti-flicker by UL Solutions to reduce eye strain.
