It may all come down to the power of well-worn friendships, but finding joy beyond sheer cynicism is no easy task. It’s an inspirational story. This sentiment is in some way representative of not only Misaki’s conflict, but also Masaya’s, and most of the cast as a whole.

Like the original game, Extra member 2‘s visuals are great. Especially in his FC matches, where the character’s pirouettes and stunts are represented by colorful lines in the sky, it’s worth noting. Also, it’s fun to watch the dynamic, well-paced and stylish clashes.

That doesn’t mean the calm moments aren’t beautiful, though. The character design is colorful, and the comedy and drama expressions are wonderful scenes. These visual elements are accompanied, as in previous games, by a superb job of the voice actors who were able to convey a lot of emotion in their performances.
