NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace Goes Mobile

Following the announcement of the other rebranded RTX 4080, details have been revealed about the mobile version of NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace GPU. Mobile versions of the RTX 4070, 4060, and 4050 are expected to arrive on laptops around February 22nd. The presentation suggests we can expect 80 fps at 1440p while gaming, making Blender’s run that previously took up to two and a half hours complete in his 10 minutes. A price tag of $1000 was also mentioned for the laptop with the RTX 4050, but unfortunately it’s not specified if the performance given only applies to the mobile RTX 4070.

There’s also the Mobile RTX 4080 and 4090 coming February 8th, capable of handling up to three 4K monitors at 60fps. If you want to get your hands on a laptop with one of these cards, it will likely cost you at least $2000. increase. This is to not only extend battery life, but also to reduce the amount of heat generated. This means that even a 14″ laptop can be used as a workstation if desired.
