Samsung’s 2022 Galaxy Unpacked event starts today. The company is announcing the new Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro, as well as the Galaxy Buds2 earbuds, along with foldable phones.
Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro – premium and well-equipped
The Watch5 and Watch5 Pro are powered by Samsung’s own Exynos W920 dual-core 1.18GHz processor, with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Galaxy Buds2 Pro – Many upgrades to Samsung’s high-end ANC Buds
Finally, we have Samsung’s latest top-of-the-line earbuds, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro.

The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are available in 3 colors: Graphite, White and Bora Purple. The earbuds feature IPX7 water resistance, along with several upgrades over the previous generation of earbuds.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are equipped with upgraded coaxial 2-way speakers, but with a more compact and ergonomic design. It offers high dynamic range 24-bit audio, improved active noise cancellation, and a new auto-switching feature that seamlessly transitions buds between Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and Samsung TVs.

Samsung claims up to 5 hours of listening time with ANC enabled on the Buds2 Pro alone, or up to 18 hours total when you factor in the power from the charging case. Disabling ANC brings the battery life up to 8 hours in the earbuds and up to 29 hours with the case.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro will be available for pre-order starting today, August 10th, for $229.99, with sales beginning August 26th.
