A ship taller than a skyscraper is heading to the North Sea to build the world’s largest offshore wind farm on Dogger Bank off England’s northeast coast.
Voltaire’s ‘jack-up’ ship, so called because it stands on the seafloor with four unfolded legs, is 130 meters long, reaching 336 meters, just slightly higher than the Eiffel Tower.
