Acer swift 3 hardware and upgrade options
We had the chance to test the most powerful Swift 3 design to date, with a Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD, but the retail setup has It also incorporates a Core i3 or i5 processor. GB RAM and 128, 256 GB SSD reserves.
The CPU and RAM are welded to the motherboard, but the capacity is upgradable. Reaching the inside is a pretty easy task, as you’ll have to travel across the backboard.

Inside you’ll see a large amount of conduit tape used to hold the various link setups, probably because this example is a pre-made model and not the final retail unit It’s a thing. Again, you can see there’s quite a bit of unused space, especially around the battery. This means Acer may have decided to go with a bigger one and opt for a standard 48 Wh battery to save costs.
