The OnePlus 11 has been made official for the Chinese market in less than 24 hours, ahead of its global launch next month. And it already looks incredibly successful. In fact, it’s more successful than any OnePlus device before it.
According to OnePlus China president Li Jie, the OnePlus 11 broke the brand’s pre-sale record in just two hours. The first real sale he will take place on January 9th. At this rate, we believe we can achieve spectacular success. Expect many units to be purchased in just a few minutes, followed by “sold out” notifications shortly thereafter. Common sense in the Chinese market.

Interestingly, in response to a user on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter, Li has effectively stated that there will be no OnePlus 11 Pro and that the OnePlus 11 is intended to replace the previous year’s Pro model. Of course, with translation, especially the automated machine kind of translation, things can always get lost, so throw in a little salt.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a OnePlus 11 Pro at some point, but the company itself says such a device won’t come, so for now, I wouldn’t bet on it.
It’s also too early to start speculating about the OnePlus 11T, which could possibly arrive later this year, so for now, we have a feeling we’re going to enjoy the OnePlus 11. Just wait to get your hands on it when it debuts internationally on February 7th.
