A recent scroll through the tech social interweb revealed some patterns. Here are screenshots of Everyone’s Spotify Wrapped, Elon talking about his next big brain move, and his conversation with OpenAI’s newest bot, ChatGPT.

OpenAI, the research firm responsible for DALL E 2 and all the fantastical work that stems from it, recently rolled out ChatGPT for public testing. But even though the conversational chatbot is still in its infancy, its consistent and surprisingly thoughtful responses were enough to make me question my standing as a professional typist.
Naturally, there were many questions to ask the AI. Among them was a prompt asking me to write a full review of the product I covered. iPhone 14 ProBelow are ChatGPT’s answers and my commentary on what’s right and what’s wrong.
Spoiler alert: I don’t really care about the safety of my job. At least not yet.
Prompt: Write a full review for the Apple iPhone 14 Pro

There are no hard and fast rules about how you should communicate on ChatGPT, but we’ve found that the more specific your language, the more accurate your answers will be. In this case, I added “full” before “review” so that the AI knows to draft a full intro-to-conclusion analysis on a modern iPhone. Otherwise, only his one-paragraph summary of the product will be generated. Although we could have done without “Apple”.
ChatGPT review
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro is the latest addition to Apple’s smartphone lineup and is an amazing device. The new design is a sleek, modern design with a bezel-less display and a stainless steel frame. Also, the phone is the perfect size, not too big and fits comfortably in your hand.
Performance wise, the iPhone 14 Pro does not disappoint. Powered by Apple’s latest A15 Bionic chip, it offers ultra-fast, smooth and lag-free performance. From browsing the web and checking email to playing games and streaming videos, this phone handles all your daily tasks with ease. I also noticed that the phone didn’t slow down or slow down over time, even with multiple apps running in the background.

The iPhone 14 Pro’s camera is also top-notch. It features a triple lens system that allows versatile shooting options including ultra wide, wide and telephoto lenses. The new Night Mode feature is fantastic, allowing you to take crisp, clear photos even in low light. Plus, the new ProRAW format gives you more control over editing, so you can fine-tune every aspect of your photos. I also found new features such as Deep Fusion and Smart HDR 3 to be useful for everyday photography.
One of the standout features of the iPhone 14 Pro is its battery life. Even with heavy use, the phone can easily last a full day. New battery-saving features like optimized battery charging and low-power mode also help extend battery life even further. What’s more, the phone supports fast charging, so you can top up your battery instantly when you need it.
Overall, I am very impressed with the Apple iPhone 14 Pro. It is a top-of-the-line smartphone that combines design, performance and function. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a new phone.
ChatGPT is correct
So what did you think? In my eyes, there are some clear wins and losses in AI capabilities. First of all, the flow of reviews is textbook. ChatGPT sets the tone with what we think of the iPhone 14 Pro, talking about design, performance, camera, and battery life, and concludes with our definitive recommendations. The AI is told that 3 is a new feature on the iPhone, and the 3 are properly mentioned in the camera section. The only problem is that two of these three functions are No I will touch on it later.

I was also impressed with how the AI explained the product and followed up on how it impacted the user experience. For example, “Plus, this phone supports fast charging, so you can top up your battery instantly when you need it.”
What ChatGPT is doing wrong
The main problem with AI-generated product reviews is that they are inaccurate. You may have noticed some mistakes while reading the answer, like he considered the A15 Bionic rather than the A16 Bionic as the latest chipset and suggested that Deep Fusion in 2019 was a “new” feature. Hmm.
In defense of OpenAI, the company says on its website that ChatGPT “can occasionally generate false information” and “has limited knowledge of the world and events beyond 2021.” This makes sense. This is because AI does not always have a reliable source of information to refer to. In more complex situations, especially when you need to account for a particular iPhone model, you can’t tell whether the data you’re pulling is true or false.
Unless it’s an iPhone 14 Pro of The perfect phone – we believe this is not true – ChatGPT reviews are also positive for the product. Controversial iPhone features such as one Dynamic Island are not mentioned.

And finally, even a little personality can change an AI’s rating from “good” to “excellent.” I don’t know about you, but I love reading other journalists’ perspectives (and hot takes) every time a new product is released. What AI has yet to imitate is a majestic balancing act of wit, assertiveness, and curiosity.
Conclusion
My feelings about ChatGPT and the possibilities of AI going forward are a mixture of excitement, anxiety, and fear. AI will likely play an integral role in solving today’s labor problems, making what was once a vision of the future more real than ever.Perhaps ChatGPT can be really confusing World’s largest search engine.
But until I can delve into the human side of human communication and interaction, and better understand the risks and dangers that a perfect, immortal computer poses, I will remain apprehensive.
