Following on from our previous video, we offer more insight into what to expect from the PC version of the new next-gen update rolling out to the Witcher 3 game. We’ve published a tech review that includes racing and performance modes.
PS5 vs Xbox Series X
“Verdict on The Witcher 3 full version focused on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Still, there are glaring issues with the framerates in this release, especially well below 30 fps in ray tracing mode on the PS5, adding high input latency and crashes on both premium consoles. It’s clear that this is a project that could be improved.Note: The input latency results include a display latency of 22 ms, which when factored in is 70 ms in performance mode and 70 ms in RT mode. It will be 135 milliseconds.”

The Witcher 3 next-gen update is now available for free download to those who already own the game, offering a series of visual enhancements, tweaks and improvements specifically for PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles . For more information, check out the patch notes linked above.
