AMD used its CES 2023 press conference to detail its new Ryzen 7000 CPUs and announced that Radeon 7000 GPUs will be featured in laptops.
AMD has announced four new Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards – RX 7600M XT, RX 7600M, RX 7700S, and RX 7600S – S for efficiency, M for performance (same nomenclature as the RX 6000 series). These cards will be a direct match to Nvidia’s RXT 3060 laptop GPUs, so expect more powerful Radeon 7000 GPUs in the second half of 2023.
All Radeon 7000 series laptop GPUs feature 8GB GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory interface. All four cards are based on the RDNA 3 architecture but built on TSMC’s 6nm process instead of the newer 5nm process.
The RX 7600M XT is the most powerful new mobile GPU in the series, capable of using up to 120 watts of power. AMD says the 8GB mobile GPU will beat his 12GB Nvidia desktop RTX 3060. hitman 3 From 184fps to 160fps at 3060.

AMD is developing a new DLSS upscaler called Smart Shift RSR. This is reported to be “decoupled from the GPU”. Further performance improvements are expected in the first half of 2023.
Radeon 7000 series graphics will be available in laptops starting in February. Included in AMD Advantage edition of Alienware M16 and M18, and Asus’ TUF Gaming A16.
