This is called “uninterrupted listening,” and the idea is that you can seamlessly move songs and podcasts from one device to another based on your physical location throughout the day.

Google doesn’t say much about how this will work or when the feature will be available, but it does give a working example. It seems like you can start a podcast in your car, continue on your phone, and have minimal interruptions on your TV. You can already do this, but you’ll have to pair and unpair your phone from various devices along the way.
