Honor’s rumored offline-only 80 Pro is now officially on sale in China. It looks very similar to the upcoming Honor 80 Pro, but with some key differences.
The biggest change is the flat display. It’s still a 6.67 inch AMOLED panel refreshing at 120Hz, but with a lower resolution than 2400x1080px.
Built into the display is a single low-res 32MP selfie camera instead of the original Pro’s 50MP + 2MP combo.
Cheaper Honor 80 Pro
The rear camera system is also different. The 160MP main camera replaces the autofocus 50MP with an inferior 8MP ultra-wide camera with fixed focus. The 2MP depth sensor is still here.
The new Honor 80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. The battery capacity is 4,800mAh and supports 66W charging. As for software, the Honor 80 Pro runs Android 12 under MagicOS 7.
Honor 80 Pro in 3 colors
The flat-screen Honor 80 Pro will only be sold in physical stores. Currently available in black, green and pink, the 12/256GB model is priced at CNY 3,599.
