Honor Magic5 Lite surfaces on the Google Play Console with a Snapdragon 695 chipset

The Honor Magic 4 series debuted in February, so it’s about time for a new series. We’ve seen some leaks indicating that the premium Magic 5 model will use his Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. But there’s also an affordable “light” model, which Google says will use his Snapdragon 695, a lower-power chip. play the console.

The Honor Magic4 Lite also used a Snapdragon 695, which appears to be a different version of the chip. Six Cortex-A55-derived tiny cores run at 1.8GHz instead of the standard 1.7GHz. The two Cortex-A78 based big cores run at 2.2GHz, the same as the original chip.

Honor has used this chipset before, but the Honor X9 5G also has a smaller core running at 1.8GHz. Other than that, the X9 is pretty much the same as the Magic4 Lite (and the two products launched a week apart from him).

The Magic5 Lite (aka Honor HNRMO-Q and RMO-NX1) runs Android 12 and packs 8GB of RAM based on GPC information. It also has an FHD+ display (1,080 x 2,400px, 20:9). Dimensions are unknown at this time, but the 2022 model has a large 6.81-inch LCD, which should be in the same range. From the images posted by GPC, it looks like the new model will have a curved display (Magic4 Lite had a flat display).

Considering the launch isn’t too far away, we should know more about the upcoming Honor Magic 5 series soon.
