This is a great place to learn how to make stop motion animated movies. Kids will love seeing their imaginations come to life. You can make your favorite toys come to life, create stories and sequences, or create small presentations that show how causality works. However, KOMA KOMA for iPad is not a full-fledged animation studio and is even more limited when compared to competitors such as Stop Motion Studio. Kids will get used to frame-by-frame editing, but they won’t encounter other editing tools like After Effects, Narrate and Write, Add Audio, and Manipulate Existing Animation by Drawing. As just a camera capture animation creator, kids are best to use this app as a mobile “flipbook” maker. It also lacks support. There are only a few introductory videos and few FAQs, contextual clues, explanations, etc.
