As the new year 2023 begins, let’s take a look back at the first week. CES 2023 was held in Las Vegas, traditionally the stage for Intel and AMD to make big announcements. AMD has detailed its Ryzen 7000 desktop and mobile CPUs and four new Radeon 7000 series GPUs. Intel has announced its 13th generation laptop CPUs, built on the groundbreaking and popular 12th generation.
On the other side of the globe, OnePlus has unveiled its new flagship, the OnePlus 11, in China. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, a Hasselblad calibrated camera, a 6.7 inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display and a 5,000mAh battery. The OnePlus 11 is already available for order in China and will be available globally in February. Also, with a change in naming strategy, there is no OnePlus 11 Pro this year, so this is the flagship for the first half of the year.
For a while, not a week went without a story for the popular Galaxy S23, and the first week of 2023 was no exception. but unfortunately this was later proven to be wrong. Second, we got official looking high quality renderings of all three models. The ThinkPhone has a 6.6-inch 1080p OLED with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 50MP main camera and a 5,000mAh battery. Other great features include wireless charging, IP68, and his enhanced MIL-STD 810H drop resistance. Lenovo has yet to disclose ThinkPhone pricing.
This is the first Redmi Note smartphone to be launched outside of China this year.
