Samsung has reportedly secured a dedicated version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy S23 series, running prime cores at 3.36GHz instead of the usual 3.19GHz. However, we also hear that the Samsung MX (Mobile eXperience) division has formed a team to develop an in-house chipset.

For those of you who don’t know, Samsung Electronics (which makes Galaxy phones) is a separate company from Samsung System LSI, which designs the Exynos chipset. The new chip is said to be designed by a new team at Samsung Electronics and will be manufactured using the second or third generation of Samsung’s 3nm Gate All Around technology.
Considering we’ve already seen an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 a few times, it looks like it will be the only chipset in the Galaxy S23 generation. If so, you won’t make it in time.Are you ready for the S24 series? TM Roh may give us the answer next month.
Incidentally, rumors suggest that Samsung will bump the base storage of the Galaxy S23 trio from 128GB to 256GB. These three could also introduce One UI 5.1.
