According to an inside source cited by 91 mobilesXiaomi is about to unveil its next flagship phone with a Leica camera at MWC 2023 in Barcelona, and we can safely assume that it will be the successor to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Not much is known about Xiaomi’s upcoming top-of-the-line device, other than the rumored Leica-branded lens and 1-inch main sensor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will undoubtedly take care of the processing, but beyond that there’s plenty of room for improvisation.
However, the fact that Xiaomi’s next top dog will be unveiled at MWC 2023 is great news as it means it will be released globally unlike the 12S Ultra which remained a China exclusive.
Alongside smartphones, Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro tablets. The Vanilla will run on the Snapdragon 870 and the Pro will be powered by his Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from last year.
