A US government laboratory has built a tool to find and summarize knowledge from abstracts of scientific papers. It uses the same AI as the recently published chatbot ChatGPT.
“I can see the day when we will have research assistants, AIs with access to incredible amounts of information,” says John Dagdelen.
Doug Deren and his colleagues at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California started with the goal of teaching GPT-3.
